Private jet · Lauberhorn 2027, 15-17 January: not even cars reach Wengen
The Lauberhorn is raced at Wengen, a village that cars do not enter: for everyone the last leg is the cog railway from Lauterbrunnen. The jet lands far away, at Zurich, Basel, Geneva or Bern, and the right quote starts from the time of the last train, not the time of the flight.

Where from, when, how many
Three fields and the quote form opens with Bern already set as arrival. Luggage and aircraft come next; name and contact details only at the end, if you decide to send.
Not even cars reach Wengen
Wengen has no airport and no roads for cars: the tourist board says so first, the village can only be reached from Lauterbrunnen, by public transport, on foot or by bicycle. Anyone arriving by car leaves it in the covered car park below Lauterbrunnen station and goes up on the Wengernalpbahn cog railway. From Interlaken Ost to Wengen takes 37 minutes. That is why the jet lands far away, and the last leg is always on rails.
What constrains the flight Operating notes written in Italian

The programme, day by day
The 2027 Lauberhorn races run at Wengen from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 January. Friday 15 at 12:30 is the super-G, Saturday 16 at 12:30 the Lauberhorn downhill, Sunday 17 the slalom, first run at 10:00 and second at 13:00. Before the races come the downhill training runs, Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 at 12:30, which the organiser still lists as to be confirmed. The race dates are the same in the FIS World Cup calendar for the 2026/27 season.
Which airport
From Zurich airport the direct train to Interlaken Ost leaves every two hours and takes about two hours; from Basel it takes about two hours after a fifteen-minute bus ride; from Geneva about three hours, with changes. These are the times published by the Wengen tourist board. Bern is the closest airport as the crow flies, but we have not verified its business aviation data against an official source: for your date we confirm them with the operator before the quote.
The week after
The Lauberhorn ends on Sunday 17 January. On Monday 18 the World Economic Forum starts in Davos and Hahnenkamm week starts in Kitzbühel: free aircraft and crews across the whole alpine arc become fewer, and in Forum week Zurich allows two hours of parking at most. If you leave Wengen on Sunday evening or Monday morning, book the return together with the outbound flight.
How we work
Alpine Private Jet works with Air-Dynamic, a Swiss company that arranges charter flights and operates helicopter and air ambulance directly. For the Lauberhorn we give you the airport, an arrival time that leaves room for the train up to Wengen, and the return flight already held. We do not sell race tickets: we move you and your luggage. The intermediation fee is written into the quote. Quote in 1 minute.
Questions we get
When is the Lauberhorn 2027?
From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 January 2027: super-G on Friday at 12:30, downhill on Saturday at 12:30, slalom on Sunday with runs at 10:00 and 13:00.
Can you drive to Wengen?
No. Wengen is car-free: you leave the car at Lauterbrunnen and go up on the Wengernalpbahn train. From Interlaken Ost to Wengen takes 37 minutes.
Which airport for the Lauberhorn?
It depends on where you fly from and on the date. From Zurich airport the direct train to Interlaken Ost takes about two hours, from Geneva about three with changes. Bern is closer as the crow flies: we confirm its operating data for your date.
When are the downhill training runs?
Tuesday 12, Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 January at 12:30. The organiser still lists them as to be confirmed.
What happens the week after?
From 18 January the World Economic Forum in Davos and Hahnenkamm week in Kitzbühel begin. Free aircraft and crews become fewer: book the return together with the outbound flight.
Do you sell race tickets?
No. We arrange the flight and, if you ask for it in the quote, a car with driver to Lauterbrunnen. Tickets are bought from the organiser.
Tell us the date. We tell you where you land.
Give us the day and how many of you are travelling: we come back with the airport that holds up on that date, the aircraft that fits your luggage and what the last leg costs.
